About
I am an EE working out of industry. My nights I am writing Java or Rails and my interests include entrepreneurship, collaborative technologies, economics, integrated circuits, water treatment systems, and other water technologies, among other things. I am also intrigued by the ways engineering impacts society and believe that it is the duty of all engineers to try and leave society in a better place through our contributions.
During the days, evenings, weekends, and sleepless nights I am the co-founder of ShownHome, a software company helping real estate agents save time. I am a contributor for Silicon Prairie News and also curate the Silicon Prairie Region edition of StartupDigest. Check it out if you are looking to connect with other local entrepreneurs. Follow the startup happenings @StartupDigestKC.
The current stage of my life is devoted to learning, whenever and wherever I can. Learning is one of the purest pursuits in this world, and shared experience only makes it better. I plan to share the things I am learning and to have this as a record of the things I have put myself through. I look forward to your comments.
